Life Skills for Little Ones is a curriculum guide designed for the PreK-2nd grade classroom.
In this guide you will find five weeks of lessons that go along with each of the following Yoga Calm principles: Community, Listening, Strength, Grounding and Stillness.
Within each lesson, there are also suggested ice breaker activities, read aloud texts, yoga poses, games, reflections/relaxations, and an occasional art project and homework assignment. Lessons can be can also be used individually to fit your class and student needs. At the end of the book, you will find lists of additional activities and resources for each of the principles as well.
Beth Taylor has taught Yoga Calm over the last 10 years to students as young as 3 in classroom settings, in after-school programs, and at family fitness nights.
This guide is designed to be used in conjunction with the book Yoga Calm for Children, which has program and background information, activity photos, illustrations and supporting research.
